Setup categories

Categories is group under Departments to categories the similar type of menu items together. Category can be configure as a group of menu items or Set Menu. When Category is a set menu, it will include all menu items group under the category.

Create new category

  1. login as Manager or Admin
  2. Go to Main menu section
  3. Tap on Menu
  4. Select Menu function
  5. Tap on (+) button
  6. Enter the category name
  7. Select icon for the category
  8. Choose No for Set menu
  9. Done

Edit category

  1. login as Manager or Admin
  2. Go to Main menu section
  3. Tap on Menu
  4. Select Menu function
  5. Double tap on the category
  6. Edit Name & Picture as needed
  7. Done

Re-arrange category

  1. login as Manager or Admin
  2. Go to Main menu section
  3. Tap on Menu
  4. Select Menu function
  5. Tap on edit icon at the top right
  6. Select category that you wish to move
  7. Press and hold the category and move the the new location
  8. Let go the hold
  9. Tap on the tick icon to confirm
  10. Done

Delete category

  1. login as Manager or Admin
  2. Go to Main menu section
  3. Tap on Menu
  4. Select Menu function
  5. Tap on Trash bin icon at the top right
  6. Tap to select categories that you wish to remove (category must be empty with no product in it)
  7. Tap on the Trash bin icon again to delete
  8. Tap Yes to confirm
  9. Done

Assign categories to department

  1. login as Manager or Admin
  2. Go to Orders section
  3. Tap on Department
  4. Tap on the Department name
  5. Tap on Product category
  6. Select Categories to associate to the department
  7. Done

Create set menu

  1. login as Manager or Admin
  2. Go to Main menu section
  3. Tap on Menu
  4. Tap on Menu function
  5. Tap on (+) icon
  6. Enter Set menu name
  7. Select Icon for Set menu
  8. Enter Set menu price
  9. Click Done to save Set menu
  10. Tap on newly created Set menu
  11. Click on (+) to add menu item to the Set menu (See create menu item for more details)
  12. Done
